The horses looking happy and settled at Stuccles

Louise, Geoff, the horses and I are all settled in at Stuccles now. We also have a few new rides: Expresso, a four year old owned by Louise and I; Killygordon, a 14 year old by Cavalier Royale out of  Clover Hill mare who is being jumped by Louise; Valencio - Caroline Copland's lovely Corland X Calvados stallion and Dee Crossfield's Clear the Way. Louise won the Six & Seven Year Old final on Brendon Stud's Sussex Caretino.

The All England Jumping Championships at Hickstead was a good show for us. Killygordon and Louise were second in the 1.20 final and 5th in the 1.30 final. Valencio was 7th in the 1.40 on Friday and Hermione was fourth in the AEJC Grand Prix on Sunday. Global was the best 7 year old in the Addington Talent Seekers qualifier and so has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show. Clear the Way was 4th in a 1.30 open.

At the Bury Farm Autumn Classic Arantos was second in the HOYS Wildcard Class on the first day, but just missed getting his wildcard at the end of the week.

We are off to Arena UK next week with a lorry full of horses and then on to the Horse of the Year Show.
