MET Tour Oliva Nova- WEEK 3

Helen Cruden

So the final week of jumping in Spain proved a very successful one despite both riders suffering badly with the flu! Louise and her 7 year old Jaffar de Bourguinon finished in style by winning the 7 year old Grand Prix he has been in outstanding form throughout the show. David and Julia Cruden's Keoki also jumped clear in the Grand Prix but had an unlucky time fault.

The older horses were in great form with numerous wins and placings. Louise and Fiona van het Lemmenshof won a very fast ranking class and then she went on to finish 2nd with Chamberlain in the 1.45 ranking class. David was also clear and finished 8th with Ali Jackson's Andretti who is now off to a new home after impressing across the show. Other placings included David with Cognac who was 4th in a ranking class as well as Gotti van Paemel who picked up a lower placing in the final days small Grand Prix.

Over in the UK Lola took the young horses out to Parwood and Felbridge and had two great days with all 4 horses jumping double clear in their respective classes at both shows. At Parwood she picked up 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Foxhunter with Emma Harrison's Oscar Zee, David's Galwaymerbreaker and Helen Cruden's Darco Diva.

The team are now off to Vilamoura Atlantic tour with 3 horses each whilst the two 7 year olds head home to England before heading to Lummen with the other young horses next month
