Don VHP was ridden and produced by Louise to Grand Prix level, the pair developing an undeniable bond which resulted in success in numerous high-profile classes. Now ridden by “Flying Dutchman” Harrie Smolders, who credits the horse with taking him to number one on the world rider rankings in 2018, Don has dominated the sport on the global stage.
With many GCT appearances, a WEG performance in 2018, individual silver at the Europeans in Gothenburg in 2017 and team gold and individual bronze at the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, also in 2017, Louise says “He’s gone on to be one of the most well know horses around and that makes me feel so privileged to have ridden and produced him.”
