As we headed to the final week of the Vilamoura eyes were firmly set on the 3* FEI Nations Cup, with David joining team mates Shane Breen, Michael Duffy, Richard Howley & Mikey Pender to contend the title. Making his debut appearance on a Nations Cup Team, Foudre F jumped his heart out to help Ireland take 3rd place.
Having been a strange year for all showjumpers with plans up in the air, and competitions being cancelled, we are so excited to be going into 2021 with such a talented horse, and cannot wait to see what the year brings for him and David.
While the Nations Cup pulled focus, it would be remiss not to mention the beautiful clear round jumped by Caluna Z on the very same day in the 3* 1.30m to take 11th place.
As always, our thanks go out to the fabulous team at DLS for working tirelessly through the tour to make sure the horses were always fit, healthy & looking so smart.
Now time to head home for Christmas, and to await the arrival of the newest member of the team…
