A WIN IN PRAGUE

Following the success of last week, Louise and 6-year-old stallion Tres Bien Z secured 3rd in the 6&7-year-olds, with Jaguar and David also in the money finishing 12th.

The second week at Prague began on Thursday. Following the success of last week, Louise and 6-year-old stallion Tres Bien Z secured 3rd in the 6&7-year-olds, with Jaguar and David also in the money finishing 12th. The 3* Ranking class followed, with Louise and Starrouge posting a beautiful clear and David and Foudre F slotting into 10th place.

Team DLS were well represented in the 3* 1.40 on Friday, with Lou and Cooper VA jumping clear and David and Mysoa des Rouches Rouges finishing in the money with a 14th placing. Friday was also the 3* Nations Cup of Prague and although David was fifth man for the Irish team, it was great to be supporting Ireland who came 4th. Congratulations to all involved!

Saturday was the young horse final, and Jaguar piloted by David hacked around the 1.40 final for a double clear in the 7-year-old section whilst Tres Bein Z and Lou had an unfortunate fence in the jump off. Starrouge and Lou were in the money in the 3* 1.40 to finish 11th.

The highlight of the show was Foudre F and David winning the 3* Grand Prix at the Chuchle Arena Praha, beating the next competitor by 0.4 seconds in an uber quick jump off.

Thank you to all of those who make these great shows possible, we’ve had a fantastic two weeks in the Czech Republic and can’t wait to come back next year.
