DLS was out in full force for their third week jumping in the sun in Portugal.

Indian Quality Z jumped her heart out in the age classes at the start of the week. Jumping some classy rounds, the first two days, she ended her week on a high with a 4th in the 7-year-olds. What an exciting mare, who for sure has a bright future ahead of her.

Annie recorded the first result of the week for the 4* show, piloting TJ Calon Lan to 7th in the 4* 1.35 on Friday, and the pairing took 10th in the same class on Saturday. David rode Carleyle in the same class for a schooling round to jump clear whilst homebred Balloon Cruise was on the podium in the 4* 1.30 for 3rd, with Antonia and G Star Blue hot on their heels to take 4th.

On Sunday, David took 8th in the 4* 1.40 with super stallion Carleyle whilst Danny Dunne’s Indeed took 10th in the 4* 1.30. Antonia and G Star Blue posted another solid round in the 4* 1.30 accumulator for a speedy 6th place.

Halfway through our tour, we have been so impressed by how much the horses have come on and we can’t wait to see what our last weeks will bring.
