With the horses arriving in Portugal in good form, this Vilamoura campaign got off to a fine start.
The great showjumper Don VHP Z was retired from the sport in an emotional ceremony at the Longines Global Champions Tour show in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands on Saturday 12 September.
British showjumping returned to its traditional home, AEJC Hickstead, for the All England Championship Show last week and Team DLS was more than ready to get back to it.
The Bank Holiday weekend saw the DLS team competing on home soil over 5 days at Pyecombe Equestrian Centre.
This week saw DLS represented across the showjumping circuit, both nationally and internationally.
It was the final week of competition for the DLS team at Sentower Park after an epic month-long campaign.

The DLS team were well and truly back into the swing of things in this their second week of competition in Belgium.
